The lovely Sophie @ Love Live and Learn nominated me for this little thing called the Liebster Blog Award.
Here’s how it works:
We all need a dose of Inspiration and there is nothing like a friendly show of appreciation to inspire us onward no matter the genre or in my eclectic case, genres, we write.
This Award is given to bloggers who have less than 200 followers, all in the spirit of fostering new connections.
Leibster is German and means ‘dearest’ or ‘beloved’ but it can also mean ‘favourite’ and so this is why we continue to pass the award onto our own favourite bloggers.
- Show your thanks to the blogger who gave you the award by linking back to them.
- Reveal your top 5 picks for the award and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
- Post the award on your blog.
- Bask in the love from the most supportive people on the blogosphere – other bloggers.
- And, best of all – have fun and spread the karma.
Her words about me (and other bloggers) are so sweet.
Without any further ado, here are my choices:
This is quite redundant but I’m going to do it anyway: I nominate Sophie right back! She’s just such a lovely, caring person. She blogs about her university experiences as an English student, and isn’t afraid to be honest.
Danielle @ The Oxford Comma. Danielle is yet another English student, who writes a smart and sophisticated blog about her university experiences and literature that she loves.
Amy @ Girl Looks Like A Pony. First of all, what an awesome blog name. Amy is a girl from Yorkshire, living in Berlin, wearing awesome clothes, eating awesome food, and making awesome things. It would also appear that she is the queen of finding obscenely cheap things on eBay. Anyone who can appreciate a good cup of tea and a good bargain is a friend of mine.
Mackenzie @ whatever, gatsby. I think I want Mackenzie’s life, please. Her blog is inspiring, adorable and hilarious. After reading it, you will want to move to Boston. Just thought I’d warn you.
Allie @ forgottenbeast. Allie is friendly, smart, kind and cool. She reads a lot of books, and posts awesome vegan recipes. (I’m not in any way a vegan, and I still think they’re awesome.)
Given the amount of blogs I read, this list could carry on forever. I chose the blogs with <200 followers that I check the most often, and in doing so, the people I have interacted with in the blogging world who I think are the nicest.
