My day began when I woke up unexpectedly at 6am. Realising that this was not an acceptable time for me, personally, to be awake, I went back to sleep. I awoke again at around 10. I was enjoying being in bed a little too much, so I remained there for about an hour, listening to music, reading a book, and mentally planning how much work I was going to do today. Ah, the life of a procrastinating student.
Eventually I conjured up the energy to head downstairs, and proceeded to do the washing up for approximately 30 minutes. Ah, the life of a disgusting student. After doing the washing up, I made a bowl of Ready Brek (pure class) and a cup of coffee and watched Desperate Housewives on telly. It was a pretty old episode and I realised that the timeline of Desperate Housewives confuses me greatly. When did they make the jump forwards? When did they have all the kids? What was all that jazz about the toybox in the first series? So, I decided that today’s main form of procrastination is going to be figuring all this out.
Between the hours of 1 and 6, I wasted a lot of time reading blogs, watching Russell Howard, tidying my room, watching Ugly Betty, eating a cheese and onion toastie, and drinking green tea. I also managed to get one of my draft essays up to 1000 words. So the total now stands at 4700/15000.
I considered going to the gym but didn’t.
I then had a shower and deep conditioned and exfoliated and all that jazz, for loverboy is visiting tonight. We’re going to eat homemade pizza/pie/tart (I’m not sure what to call it), go for a drink, and maybe rent a film. I am therefore sworn off essay writing, the gym, and indeed blogging until Sunday afternoon.
I’ll be back.
